I have a feeling I'll be living on tomatoes for the next few weeks...

Angie - Thanks for the idea. I'll have to look into that. And now you're giving me the tiny little push I needed to really start shopping around for a better digital camera. :) And your tomato recipe sounds great. Might have to try that this weekend!Amihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04132594195395924087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32283188.post-74272468268910666432008-08-14T21:44:00.000-04:002008-08-14T21:44:00.000-04:00Ami, it'd be easy to turn those food photos in...Ami, it'd be easy to turn those food photos into postcards if you print on heavy stock. Bet your local market or deli would stock them on commission for you. They're frameable qualtity & would look great in kitchens...or maybe even framed (inexpensively) and sold at restaurants in your area. ;)

Tomatoes, yum! Slice summer fresh ones, sprinkle on minched garlic, salt & pepper, and a dash of Zesty Italian dressing, cover with mozzerella cheese and throw it under the broiler until cheese melts. mmm mmm good.Angie Ledbetterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16407006980893727627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32283188.post-43924742914996125172008-08-14T14:06:00.000-04:002008-08-14T14:06:00.000-04:00Love this tomato post. We have a little tomato patch out back - It's one of the best parts of summer.Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03972054718663959694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32283188.post-29049958380392521432008-08-13T19:29:00.000-04:002008-08-13T19:29:00.000-04:00Kathryn - I wish I could give you some of the basi...Kathryn - I wish I could give you some of the basil from my yard. I'm getting it from the CSA, too, and I'm a little overwhelmed. I love it, but there's only so much one person can eat.

Angie - Thanks so much. I used to take pictures all the time and considered it a hobby with potential, but I got out of it when I started writing more. I've been thinking about doing more, but can't seem to find the time or energy for one more thing. Taking pics for my food posts is the most I do these days, and I often forget to do that. :)Amihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04132594195395924087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32283188.post-77771687015481704142008-08-13T17:04:00.000-04:002008-08-13T17:04:00.000-04:00Beautiful photography too.
