A Downer and an Upper

The Downer

A few months ago, I submitted an article on lightening up your favorite comfort foods for Radiant Magazine. It was accepted and I waited with anticipation to see the new issue with my byline. Unfortunately, the print magazine decided to take a hiatus and my byline (along with the paycheck) disappeared in a puff of smoke.

The Upper

The editor I work with at Radiant was more than happy to offer to use the article for their online version instead. While I won't get paid for it, at least it's been published and you can read it if you so choose.

  1. i read your article at radiant living and the suggestion about the smaller plate? i do that with my regular meals.

if i use a smaller plate my portions look bigger. and since i don't like my food to touch if at all possible, it works out well since i put smaller portions on the plate to keep them apart.

what i wouldn't give for divided china plates!!!

  2. Hello! Business opportunity. I can see it now: "Jen and Ami's Divided Plates". Ok, we'd have to come up with a catchier product name, but I definitely think there's a market for those!

I'm a fan of smaller plates, too. I like to think I'm eating a lot, even if I know I'm not.
