Apparently, there's a lull in the bean and tomato crops, so I have a bit of a reprieve from all the bean and tomato dishes. The chard, however, still forces itself on me. I'm craving a frittata, though, so the chard will come in handy this week. I was hoping for more eggplant to make ratatouille, but alas there was none, so I'll have to make roasted eggplant slices with the one from last week. Not that I'm disappointed by that. I love me some roasted eggplant.
And the watermelons have arrived!

I would use the thai peppers in a curry probably. Oh you got butternut squash already! Lucky you. I'd love to get some more chard too, I like it sautéed over cous cous with pine nuts, yum
Nothing like fresh veggies! I see a post about veg lasagna - I'll have to check it out. I rarely eat meat any longer (and some meats I haven't eaten for years)...so I'm always on the lookout for good veg recipes.
Hmm, thai peppers...ground them up and sprinkle around your outdoor garbage can to keep the critters away? ;)
